Pastor Jim Pegan was appointed to serve First Methodist Church on May 1, 2025. Jim and his wife Susi were born and raised in rural Western New York and come to us after serving Methodist churches full-time in New York and North Carolina since 2001.

Eric is married to Shea and they have 3 great kids, Cooper, Caroline, and Cal. They met at the Wesley Foundation at Arkansas Tech where Eric was trained and mentored for ministry.

Lance has been a church musician since he was about 12 years old. Lance holds degrees in nursing and paramedicine, and spent most of his professional life as a RN/Paramedic in the ER, ICU, and on an EMS helicopter.

A lifelong East Texan, Michelle brings a creative eye and a heart for service to every project. She believes that clear communication is another way of extending hospitality—making everyone feel informed, welcomed, and invited to be part of what God is doing at First Methodist.

Kristi is originally from Greenville, Texas and has been married to the love of her life, Steve, for over 30 years. They have moved to quite a few towns/areas of Texas and have been back in the Cedar Creek Lake area for five years now.

Charlene Brown-Belloso serves as our Caretaker, AV Technician, and Chef. A dedicated member of First Methodist Church for over 15 years, she has faithfully served in many areas of ministry, including Lord’s Acre and Vacation Bible School.

linda Jackson serves as our Children’s Director, where she is helping our children discover God’s love and grow in their faith, all in a safe and joyful environment.

Nic Hairl is an educator, leader, and doctoral student committed to fostering meaningful learning experiences and positive organizational growth.
